We’ve designed a user-friendly Quickstart guide specifically for first-time users of the TrustBox Mute. This guide will walk you through the initial setup of your device, providing step-by-step instructions.

Most frequently asked questions

This may be due to a low battery. Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. If the battery is low, the device will emit three consecutive buzzer sounds to indicate this error.
2. Connect the provided USB-C to C cable to a power source.
3. Ensure the other end of the cable is securely plugged into the TrustBox Mute.

By following these steps and providing the device with power, you should be able to resolve the issue and turn on your TrustBox Mute.

If your TrustBox Mute is not turning on and you hear two consecutive buzzer sounds, it is possible that the device is in Travel Mode. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

1. Open the lid of the TrustBox Mute.
2. Close the lid firmly.
3. Check if the device turns on after closing and opening the lid.

By closing and opening the lid of the TrustBox Mute, you should be able to resolve the Travel Mode issue and successfully turn on the device.

To charge the TrustBox Mute, connect it to a power source using the provided USB-C to C cable. Once connected, LED (5) will illuminate in white, indicating that the battery is almost empty, and the device is currently charging.

If you encounter a critical error with your TrustBox Mute, please follow these steps:

1. Check the device for any visible external damages or signs of physical harm. If there are no apparent damages, proceed to the next step.
2. Use the On/Off Switch (2) to turn on the TrustBox Mute. This may resolve the issue and power on the device.

Alternatively, if the TrustBox Mute has been stored for a prolonged period, it is possible that the battery level is too low. In such cases, follow these steps ‘My battery is empty’.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and power on your TrustBox Mute.

To ensure the proper functioning of the QI feature on your TrustBox Mute, please consider the following steps:

  1. 1. Make sure you are using the provided USB-C to C cable to connect the TrustBox Mute to a power source that provides 5V and 3A of power.
  2. Using the provided cable will ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  3. The use of USB-A to C is not (completely) supported and may cause the phone not to charge at all, or charge only when the ON/OFF switch (2) of the TrustBox Mute is in the off position.
  4. Make sure that the phone has no case when charging or has a case that is QI compatible (a thick or animated case might cause problems).

Additionally, please verify that your mobile phone supports the QI function. Not all mobile phones are equipped with wireless charging capabilities. Check your phone’s specifications or user manual to confirm if it supports wireless charging.

By following these steps, you can successfully utilize the QI function on your TrustBox Mute.

The TrustBox Mute will buzz (5 times) and LEDs are red before the TrustBox Mute will shut down completely. To charge the TrustBox Mute, connect it to a power source using the provided USB-C to C cable and switch the ON/OFF (2) switch to OFF thereafter to ON.  LED (5) will start to illuminate in white, indicating that the battery is almost empty, and the device is currently charging.

Using the TrustBox Mute in warm environments, such as in direct sunlight or high-temperature areas, can lead to your phone displaying an overheat message. To prevent this, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Do not use the TrustBox Mute in direct sunlight or leave it in areas where it can be exposed to high temperatures for extended periods.
  2. Try to avoid charging your phone through the QI charger in the TrustBox Mute in these situations.
  3. If your phone displays an overheat message while inside the TrustBox Mute, it’s crucial to allow both your phone and the TrustBox Mute to cool down. The TrustBox Mute features overheat protection, which will be activated in these situations to safeguard the TrustBox Mute and your device.
  4. Once the TrustBox Mute and your phone have cooled down to a safe temperature, you can resume using them as normal.

The overheat protection mechanism ensures that your device remains safe, even in conditions that might initially cause an overheating message on your phone.
